At home once more.
The US micro layout, "Toadflax Yard", was briefly set up for a photo shoot with Jim Mangels's WR847230 before the Whiskey River boxcar was shipped back home. The opportunity was taken to get another picture of the CRM wagon at the same time.
Layout number 54, this one was not built when the wagon set of on its tour.

Cheshire Railway Modellers 2008 Exhibition
In preparation for our own exhibition I have been checking the various models that I'm taking to the show. One of these, Pentrebrac, is new territory and layout number 60 on the CRM wagon's grand tour.

Unfortunately the shot of Dave Martin's Padgate Lane was blurred, no doubt the wagon will catch up with the wagon repair depot at some later date though. As always, sincere thanks to the owners for granting track access.

Rainhill, March 2008
March saw the CRM wagon at Rainhill, for the second time, where these three layouts were new 'places' to visit...
Layout No.75 (right) in the wagon's grand tour was Melrose End. 76 (below left) was the Alexander Heights Brewery and 77 (below right) was a trip to the island of Sodor with Thomas and friends.

Heywood, March 2008
A fortnight later the wagon ventured north to the Heywood MRG's annual show at the Civic Hall, adding eight new layouts to the total visited.
