Our hosts (and notes on running expenses).

Proboards.Com is host for our members' forum. They provide free on line discussion sites which are easy to maintain and offer a range facilities from full public access to members only pages. Proboards also offer a number of services to suit the needs of their subscribers, CRM uses the Ad-Free option but this is only applied for registered members, guests viewing the forum will still see adverts on the pages.

Webs.Com hosts this website. In addition to their free sites they also offer a selection of advanced options at reasonable rates. CRM uses the "Enhanced" version giving virtually unlimited photographs and any number of pages. A very easy system to use - thoroughly recommended.

The annual running costs of Cheshire Railway Modellers, when spread out over the year, are negligible - hence the free membership. However, if any members feel guilty about not paying subs they can always drop a few coins in the next charity collection box that they see.
