Norm's Layout

I have not used any towns or railway yards of any kind. This is my own setup. Being a novice and this is my very first attempt at building a railway. I had no idea how to go about it, so I got a few CD's and went on from there. My set up consists of an over head track, all together about 12 feet long. One tunnel about the same length, then mainly all flat track from there. Had problems with some parts, but finally getting the bugs out and still have problems with my controller cuting out on me when I run two trains for about three or four minutes. It doesn't heat up at all so I think it's in the track work some place. I'm no electrician but do understand some of it. Pretty well all the buildings and pieces I made myself and painted. The pictures on the back wall and the cliffs are printed from my computer to dress it up a bit. I made all the walkway bridges too. I'm really enjoying it and still plan to do some more as I learn.
